A quick blog post encompassing everything that I have been up to.
- Joined CactiLab and working on some cool stuff that I hope I can show something for soon.
- Participated in the 2026 MITRE eCTF. Here’s a quick picture of everyone who participated along with me, I plan to write more about this once the repo is made public. Still proud of our design, especially given how many people learnt from and contributed to this. I look forward to doing this again next year.
I will be writing about this in a separate blog post too.

- Creating a revamped version of the initial Assembly Tracer Debugger idea I had back in undergrad: a beefed up GUI/CLI debugging toolkit. It’s still called tra86, even though it is completely different in feature sets and capabilities from what the initial version was. New working name in a proper release soon. This is under development, but will receive a proper post once it’s at least in Alpha stages.

- Went back to UMass for a weekend as a VIP consultant for the Five College Datafest.
- Got enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, specifically as a gateway to make and distribute some macOS utilities. Will I do iOS? Who’s to say? Stay tuned.
(I also have an Android Play Developer License, so who’s to say about the other mobile platform either?)
Check out Splatr and Hexa. The former is still under development, the latter is done. Both notarized.

- Took quite possibly the only other best class I have in my academic career: NEU CY5770: Software Vulnerabilities and Security, with Prof. Ziming Zhao. Incredibly in-depth, and about as life changing for me as UMass 377 & H377: Operating Systems, with Prof. Tim Richards.

- Learnt about Verus, attended the Khoury Security and Privacy Day.

^ Verus online playground analyzing an implementation of ls I wrote in Rust. I may also opt to write another expanded post about this.
These are all things that were pretty major, but also things that I don’t have enough content to write about (minus eCTF, Verus). There were def things outside of just this list, that I have written about in this blog. Tried to mainly cover stuff I had not been able to write about.
